StellarPhonenix for Mac recovers recently deleted files from hard drives. It can also "find" a hard drive that refuses to mount.

The program has a clean user interface. On starting, you are asked what you want to recover, which can be a hard drive, iPod or photo recovery. Under each of these options, you will find several sub-options such as Quick Reovery, Deleted File Recovery, Formatted Media/Lost File Recovery and Search Lost/Deleted Volumes under Data Recovery.

One major plus is the interesting graphics that catches the user attention and keeps the person alert. Together with the clean interface, even inexpert users will find it easy to use the application.
